About Us
Since our formation in 1946 as a supplier of butter muslin, Mitre Hall and Letts has expanded to become a leading supplier of linen and textile products including bed linen, towels, blankets, duvets, pillows, tablecloths, tea towels and oven cloths.
We are also one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bespoke soft furnishings, helping customers to select the appropriate fabrics and products, and then manufacturing them ourselves in the UK. We manufacture curtains, cushions, bed runners and many other items, and we can even supply furniture and carpets. Our service ranges from new builds, to refurbishments, to simply refreshing rooms with new curtains.
Our customers come from different sectors, and include:

- Hospitals and Nursing Homes
- Universities and Boarding Schools
- Leisure and Holiday Accommodation Providers
- Linen Hire and Laundry Companies
Customers range from large national hotel groups with hundreds of locations, to small, family businesses. We are also proud to have been awarded the Royal Warrant in recognition of our supply into the Royal Household.
Our main manufacturing and warehousing site is located in South Wales. Our Customer Service team is based there, as is our team of experienced Soft Furnishings Project Co-Ordinators. We also have Area Managers and National Accounts Managers around the UK to visit our customers.
Mitre also trades throughout the rest of the world via agents.
